It is a great honour that we are able to announce that July 7th 2013, ‘Mine’ Over Matter has been selected to be the Canadian Cross Triathlon Championships by Triathlon Canada and supported by Triathlon Ontario.  This bring with it age group qualifying spots for the 2014 ITU Cross Triathlon Championships in Zittau, Germany.  Details are being uploaded to the event website and registration has already opened.  See the new ‘Mine’ Over Matter video here!

Some guesses are being made on our facebook page as to what this big announcement could be.  Whats your guess?

It is with great pleasure that we open the 2013 race season!  With our new registration system, you can now register for multiple races at one time. Also check out some of our new features, including a deferral of entry insurance option, opportunities to race for free, and club bulk discounts.

‘MINE’ OVER MATTER 2012

Congrats to everyone who conquered the heat in the quarry at the 3rd annual ‘Mine’ Over Matter Off-Road Triathlon Yesterday. What a day to race! Results are up and you can now find them here: RESULT

HUGE THANK-YOU TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS.  IT WAS A HOT ONE OUT THERE FOR THEM TOO AND THEY STUCK IT OUT AND MADE IT AN AMAZING DAY FOR SOME MANY OF YOU!  I THANK-YOU SO MUCH ON BEHALF OF ALL THE PARTICIPANTS.

Yup, that time again.  On-line registration for ‘Mine’ Over Matter will be closed this evening August 24th, 2012 at 10pm.  You can register by clicking here.  After 10pm tonight, there will be day of registration available on site.

We got out there nice and early and are happy to announce that the bike and run course’s are now marked with orange flags!  Please remember that the quarry itself is still off limits.

Mine Over Matter 2012 FINAL

Its official, the climb up the ski hill is out… Now we climb up the tube park!  Final adjustments have been made to the Full Tri and Duathlon bike course, as well as a modification to the trail run portions which extends your time running in the forest!  Maps are updated and ready for down load.  Bike and run courses will be pre-marked Wednesday morning with orange flags.
